Newborn Photography by Two Color Photography
My last blog post featured Jovie’s older cousin Harper. Harper is 6 days older than Jovie. We had been planning their combined session for months!! It’s not often two cousins are born this close together so celebrating with a newborn photography session seemed quite fitting!
Jovie looks about as opposite as little Harper. Harper has a headful of dark hair. Jovie has a small tuft of blonde hair! Harper is going to have a dark complexion and Jovie is probably going to need to learn to fall in love with the sunscreen! Little Harper was pretty zonked out during the session and Jovie wanted to make sure she knew what was going on during her session!
Both babies are beautiful! It will be fun to watch them as they grow up to see if those differences noticed in their newborn photography session will remain! It will be fun to see their little personalities develop as well!!
Jovie’s little cheeks hung over the wraps! Chubby cheeks and tiny toes are some of my most favorite things about newborn photography! I think my second favorite thing would have to be when they make little spit bubbles in their lips!
Jovie was born very close to Easter so when her mom asked for an Easter basket set up I did my best to give her an awesome Easter set up and I have to say it turned out absolutely adorable!!
Jovie’s parents were excited to be in some pictures along with their new baby girl! Aren’t I related to some beautiful people?! I wish I could say it is in the genes but I suppose we don’t actually share any genes. Maybe if we hang out long enough some of Kendall’s gorgeous hair and skin color will wear off on me!
I am so grateful that the Kerns family and the Fuller family drove to Brigham City to spend the morning with me. I am honored when families are willing to come long distances for their session. Thank you!!
Jovie also got to wear a beautiful headpiece from one of my favorite vendors! We also posed her on this beautiful maroon fabric from their shop as well! Please go peek at their amazing heirloom pieces on their etsy store!
